Years Teaching

“Absolute first-class training — my son has made incredible progress with his piano playing. The teachers are all professional working performers, and it shows.”

— Jeremy, South Fayette

“Our instructor Cam was absolutely wonderful with our son, who is notoriously shy. He immediately clicked with Cam’s teaching style and really looks forward to going to class each week.”

— Amelia, McMurray

“After 40 years away from the piano, Scott Anderson has put a new lease on my near-retirement life. After only 4 months I’m playing jazz better than I ever have.”

— David Krackhardt

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do lessons cost?

Lessons are subscription-based with a flat monthly tuition. The standard rate is $140/month for 30-minute weekly lessons, $210/month for 45 minutes, and $280/month for 60 minutes. A one-time $45 annual administrative fee applies per family. See our full Rates & Policies page for all pricing including specialty instructors.

How do we get started?

You can book directly on our website — no phone call required. New families can schedule a free 15-minute Meet the Teacher appointment, try a 30-minute lesson for $25, or jump straight into weekly lessons using our self-booking links.

What ages do you teach?

We teach all ages. Piano lessons start as young as age 3. Guitar, voice, and percussion typically begin a little older depending on the child. We also have a strong adult student community — it’s never too late to start.

What if we need to cancel our subscription?

Cancel anytime by completing our online cancellation form by the 15th of the month. No hoops to jump through — just submit the form and your subscription ends the following month.

What happens if we have to miss a lesson?

You have options. Switch to an online lesson, or cancel in your account and your teacher will send a personalized LessonMate video during your missed lesson time. No lesson lost.

Do students get to perform?

Yes — and we think it matters. We hold spring and winter recitals, monthly mini-recitals in the studio, and occasional community performances. All students are encouraged to participate. As our founder Scott Anderson says, “The experience of learning music is incomplete without the experience of performing it.”
